Allied Model Trains

Since 1946, Allied Model Trains, located in Culver City, CA was one of the largest model train retailers in the United States. In the 1990s, the store also sold Department 56 Villages. During this time, the company commissioned an exclusive tailored building for The Original Snow Village and entered into a licensing agreement with Department 56 and Lionel for a series of train cars to be sold exclusively through its doors. Though not produced, by Department 56, they are included in this listing.
